Monroe Tractor has been a LeeBoy dealer since the mid-60s. This year it has added the Rosco brand of products to its line of equipment designed for service in the paving industry. Rosco is a LeeBoy company, having been purchased by LeeBoy in 2001.

Tony Wight, the LeeBoy/Rosco sales rep who works with Monroe Tractor, worked on the dealer side of the industry nine years before joining the LeeBoy team a year and a half ago. “When we started looking for a dealer for the Rosco line,” says Wight, Monroe Tractor’s reputation within LeeBoy was well founded. They are recognized as one of the great LeeBoy dealers and we recognized their solid understanding of the asphalt business. They were an obvious fit to handle the Rosco brand of products.”

Monroe Tractor’s years as a LeeBoy dealer provide it with strong experience with seven LeeBoy models of asphalt pavers as well as small graders, asphalt rollers and tack tanks. “We’ve stocked and sold the LeeBoy models ranging from the Model 1000 to the model 7000 driveway pavers; the model 5000 (5-foot to 9-foot) path pavers, the 8500 series of small commercial pavers and the large 8816 commercial pavers,” says Frank Schoenacker, Monroe’s western CE general manager.

The dealer’s addition of the Rosco brand of products to its line of LeeBoy equipment will make them available not just for sale but also for rent, according to Schoenacker.

All three models of Rosco brooms are now available, according to Wight. This includes the Challenger V (a milling broom), the SweepPro (a utility broom) and the RB-48 (a mid-mounted or belly mounted utility broom).

The RB-48, SweepPro and Challenger V brooms are the operator’s choice for maneuverability, visibility, reliability and profitability for a variety of sweeping applications, according to Wight.

From the safety and comfort of the all-season cab, the operator controls brush pressure, sweeping angle and speed with responsive joystick broom control and hydrostatic drive and steering. Rosco brooms also feature the innovative quick-change brush core system. The new Challenger V features a powerful Sweepster brush. Rosco brooms suit contractor needs from construction site and landfill cleanup to heavy-duty road milling operation cleanup.
